A small residential home in New Westminster
Progressive Lifestyles Assisted Living is planned as a small residential home in New Westminster, BC. Being small means fewer faces to learn, a quieter atmosphere, and the chance for residents, families and caregivers to really know one another.
It’s a home first. Meals are shared, rooms feel lived in, and days follow the rhythm of the people who live there.
What guides us
Person-centred
Everyone has their own story, habits and preferences. We want to learn them, and plan each person’s day and support around who they are.
Dignity
Privacy, respect and choice in everyday things: when to wake, what to wear, how to spend the afternoon.
Independence
We aim to support people to keep doing what they can for themselves, with help offered when it’s wanted, not imposed.
Family involvement
Families know their loved ones best. We plan to keep families informed, welcome them often and include them in decisions.
